Update on the Dachstein - south wall cavity (1543/28) grows to over 10 km in length.
The survey and exploration of the south wall cavity is continuing. From 07th to 10 June 2007 led by Heidi André, Ernest Geyer, Peter and Robert Seebacher Jeutter further research and survey tour. goal of this tour was to investigate the possible continuations of the giants in the field course "Paläoenns" and their photographic documentation . This was in the lower section of this magnificent canal built the spa bivouac. Next, level and dry sandy soil, and absolutely no significant weather guide this camping site to make a 4-star cave district.

A stream with considerable bulk flows through a particularly beautiful section of the cave. An excavation action in this oversized, the final Paläoenns Sedimentpfropfen enabled it to penetrate a few meters. Whether it is possible to overcome this powerful passage closure in this way, can be currently estimated as yet.
An extensive photo tour, in which mainly the 25 m wide, 15-20 m high and 400 m long Paläoenns, and about 100 m high curtain served as case subjects completed the work. Total
